We made it – 2021!
Did you ever think 2021 would arrive? I am so glad it is here because I am ready to start fresh.
This podcast began after creating devotionals for my church's small group at the outset of the pandemic.
It's a new year, and that means a fresh start for all of us. We will explore ways to kickstart your new year during the month of January to help you achieve your best.
To kick off the new year, let’s explore the very first verse in the Bible,
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1
After a year like we have had, we go back to the beginning of creation to start fresh.
In the beginning…
It's okay to have a reset, do-over, a fresh start. God allows U-turns, mistakes, mess-ups, flubs, failures, and whatever else you can think of.
Grace is getting something we don't deserve, and a fresh start is what we need.
Application
I hope you will take a few minutes today to hit reset and start fresh. Let this be the year of extraordinary grace and transformation in your life so you can impact the kingdom of Heaven in new ways.
Prayer
Lord, what a journey we have been on in 2020. We ask you to give us a fresh start and use us to change lives for Your kingdom. Amen!
